Scales up to +3 with a 6th level slot (+1 at Lv2, and +2 at 3-5). Haste doubles your movement speed. Divine Smite now costs a bonus action as well, like the other Smites. When used as a reaction or as part of Extra Attack it only has a bonus action cost, probably to get around the problem I'm about to describe with BB. Booming Blade gets the spell treatment: it consumes your action completely and is incompatible with Extra Attack. Misty Step's range is halved, down to 9m from 18m.I hit the space limit.

One notable thing I forgot to mention with strength based martials is that it feels like they need the mobile feat to get any distance crossed via jumps. It really feels like tabletop in that aspect as opposed to BG3 base where you could just ignore movement feats. The mobile feat in general just feels so good as it helps you avoid having to waste a turn dashing.

I'm wrapping up my first playthrough and I decided to side with the Emperor. Maybe it's recency bias, but it doesn't feel right to betray the person that's been protecting my character all game. My realmslore isn't the best, but helping A singular renegade mindflayer seems a lot more sensible than making the entire githyanki race stronger.I loved Neverwinter Nights 2 while I was growing up, and the githyanki did not ingratiate themselves to me. This game made me hate them even more. If it had been any other race, there could have been a dilemma. But apparently this isn't the mainstream opinion? I did some reading online and most people seem to hate the Emperor and are enthusiastic to help Orpheus. Even though they want you sell your soul to a devil? I did get spoiled on some aspects of the Emperor's behavior (like with Stelmane), but even in a least-generous interpretation of events I can't bring myself to hate the Emperor. Everything they do seems to lack malice and I can't hate someone for not wanting to die.

The very first blast of Halsin's seed into Shadowheart while you are asleep or leave them at camp, permanently changes her "scent."This is a druid thing, he essentially completely marks her as his. Even though he allows you to be with her, the scent transformation is always there to remind both of you about his ownership of her.
