It's a simple fact that the challenge floor for Endfield will always be significantly lower than that of OG Arknights.The reason for this is simple; while you could do some crazy stuff in the OG, at the end of the day, you're still limited by what your operators can actually do. A medic will always die in a couple of hits, a sniper will still need thousands to kill a high-def enemy, and nobody can hit outside their defined ranges. Player skill comes in how to successfully arrange the puzzle pieces you have in your hand.By contrast, in Endfield you can theoretically dodge every hit in the game (except a handful of scripted effects), or never once succeed at a dodge. Likewise, there's a massive difference between a well-built team's skill efficiency compared to someone who just picks what skills look pretty. There's a massive gulf in how player skill affects outcomes, and that skill comes in several different forms.And since most people aren't actually that great at games, and this is aiming for a mass audience... Well, they're going to assume their players are a bit dim. Just like they did with all the tutorialspam. Frustratingly, they're probably right about their expectations as well...

Its other things that make just standard gameplay fun that I truly wonder if they playtest in games. When movement feels off or just doesn't work, when auto chains push enemies out of bounds or move your character all around the screen, when character kits just don't work as they are described; those things that make it into the game makes me wonder if things are actually getting tested before just shit out.
