you have tons of bone shard methods so harvest is only for rcing cosmic or sunfire runes i guess and i dont think the skill is needed for anything but a few points, you can kill sulphur naguas for early levels. nature seems better with your limited access to herb patches

Phew!

I bonded up and instantly came here, I wanted to get it done right away. Encountered at least 10 players in my few hours in the wilderness, including a pure that watched me fight a boss (I ran and logged). On a fucking Monday morning, with Leagues just recently released.
Now I can play the game, and probably die to the Haunted Mine or something similarly embarrassing

For me, I think it might have been the ability to change builds.

I started as a haberd/blindbag + powered staff, and my build (intentionally) came together really quickly. If I'd stuck to that. Crystal armour + nally + toxic trident, and a few blindbag items (including scythe) really doesn't take that long to get.

I have no reason to chase anything, but then wanting to try out crossbow + thorns, I bothered to go complete justi, actually get an ACB (done a bunch of Nex but haven't got horn yet), but also going to try content this build is actually good at, and it's been a breath of fresh air.

I personally only picked 1 build to try (air mage with water healing) and it's been working great, I don't think the PVM is really what's keeping me invested. I think the better point spread of tasks while keeping the tasks way less annoying, and having more interesting relics, kept me invested longer. I doubt I'll get 80k points but the least I can do is 75k today, maaaaybe 80k at the end of the week and then quit.
