I didn't think I would be able to improve but I did. I just ditched healers and went 7 DPS and 2 tanks and was able to get a better score. Using it for Yearning farming, while possible, still feels misguided to me since Yearnings are by their very nature colossal whalebait due to the certs required. While they are technically feasible to get for F2P or light spenders, they'll likely be draining whatever reserves they had to get it or spending a LOT of time farming CF just to get one of them.You'd need a full month on average to get the 40 character certs to Y2 a specific cheeb, and that's assuming you had enough certs to get them up to 5* in the first place, which IIRC takes 20+25+50 assuming you're using CF to admit said apostle in the first place, and then if you're aiming for Y3 that's another 60 fucking certs. That is 195 fucking certs + 5 if you're ever thinking of unlocking their Board 3 at any point in the future. You could fucking double the cert rates across the board and it'd still take ages for the average player to get yearnings, and even at half price with the monthly that's 80 candy a day getting tossed into a hole that'd still likely be better off going to almost anything else from a gameplay standpoint. Generic certs help to cut that down but it's still fucking asinine, you should only really be doing it for your favorite cheeb with that time and candy investment if you're F2P or F2P+ w/monthlies and shit.

For most of the players that aren't whaling their cheebs to Y3 like myself, from a gameplay perspective their even more limited stockpiles of Star Candy are likely better spent on those other, more immediate sources of power. Crayons and Mallows are particularly useful, as Crayons universally boost your cheebs instead of narrowly hyper investing into a specific cheeb/personality type, and Mallows are a resource you can just toss at whoever to get them up to level 7 relatively cheaply and running in a team or sell for cash in a pinch if you have excess mid-tier ones.You can absolutely toss your Star Candy into the Clone Factory pit if you really want to grind out Yearnings as a F2P, but it's absolutely not something I'd recommend to the average player, at least any time soon when you likely have Board 1+2 and Skills to grind.
