Well if episode 1 is the low point then I reckon this series is going to be just fine. I breezed through that in one sitting and found it quite enjoyable. Can't say I've ever really read a VN with a setting like this before but it really does seem to be 9nine with a criminal angle. I kinda fuck with this episodic release format some devs do these days. The art seems off-putting but it really fits the mood of the VN perfectly, it's gritty and unpleasant on purpose.. Hina ended up being a much sweeter girl than I imagined her to be.
