I think moving away from the standard Hoyo gacha combat style (with ultimates and shit) was a good idea, I don't think it really fit. You don't have ultimates in GTA, Cyberpunk, or Yakuza (the games both NTE and Ananta take influence from). Like playing Hathor I realize how fucking cumbersome some characters ults feel to use in the map because Hathor for example goes flying in the fucking air and can end up clipping through walls, or I can't even see her because of objects (like signposts, or the small ass arena that you fight the boxing glove Anomalies in) obstructing my view. Then her intro skill (where she comes in with a flying kick) has sent my flying off buildings because her intro kick causes her to be knocked backwards. I dont think typical gacha gameplay fits a world like these games.If anything NTE probably should've moved away from that gameplay style too and I think it was a bad idea to stick with it. It's also why I feel less interested in playing it because it doesn't really do anything different, combat wise, to my main game WuWa. It just plays like WuWa but shittier, Ananta is at least doing something DIFFERENT.
