I think it's interesting that despite the weird sex jokes and fan service he puts in his games, Kodaka hasn't exploited any minors yet, as far as we know, even though he definitely could.
I've only played DR2 in Japanese, so I'm curious how does the localization write Sonia? In Japanese she uses lots of phrases you'd see in fiction, rather than everyday conversation, stuff that sounds too dramatic or cliched like you'd see in a drama or period piece. She sometimes will use idioms or turns of phrases but get it slightly wrong with a word off or the usage slightly off. Sometimes she'll mistakenly use words that don't fit the situation or have a slightly different nuance to how she's using them, even if in terms of meaning they seem appropriate. She uses a bit of slang, but it's usually much older slang that would be used by people a generation or two older than someone her age (when the game released). She's extremely polite, but quite outspoken, not really beating around the bush and being subtle the way Japanese people often are. Importantly, she never actually makes any grammatical errors or gets anything outright wrong and isn't written the way foreign characters in anime typically are, and her voice actor doesn't have a stereotypical foreign accent (like Angie in V3 does). I'm just wondering how do they handle her in the English version given that she's not speaking Japanese and most of the subtle stuff doesn't translate easily.

The characters in the Twilight Syndrome Murder Case are *much* easier to identify in Japanese.
