And replaying the levels to get better at them and memorize them isn't a bad thing. I think Sonic 2 also has some pretty cool exploration, there's lots of monitors and rings and checkpoints that can only be accessed by doing some shenanigans with the level design. Lost World and Open Zone Frontiers are technically all brand new locations, but one has generic cartoon desert and the other has generic realistic desert. I want environments like the classics, Adventure, Dimps games, or Colors. SA2/2006/Unleashed were already getting a bit too generic most of the time, but I don't think it was as bad as Lost World and Frontiers yet, and still had way more varied environments. Frontiers literally only has 3. Silvaze is weird because people act like it's canon but they have literally never acted romantic towards each other in any capacity.
