There’s already a 1.18.1 build released. It was posted a few threads ago.The only really difficult thing is the raid bosses. The good news is they’re all really well documented. We have multiple full videos of all of the fights. So it’s just a matter of replicating them.You act like this shit is impossible to recreate. But that’s what wow private servers did. The EU devs could have faced fallout down the line, but not Shennah and not her jewish payments mastermind Pavel Resnik of Kazakhstan who was on the paperwork for AFKCraft. AFKCraft was the only other party agreeing to the settlement besides Akalix.Here's my theory on the behind the scenes incentives based on what's known from the lawsuit. It looks like Blizzard was able to get PayPal, Stripe and other payment processors for Turtle and Stormforge to freeze funds tied to AFKCraft. So the only incentive for them to settle besides not fucking over Akalix would be getting those funds cleared. I think this is 100% about money and only money. They were probably able to get funds out by settling that Blizzard would have otherwise been able to seize. This is all speculation of course, but I don't think the settlement would have had them paying anything to Blizzard. They only care about competition for players on Classic/Classic+, not a few million shekels. They probably spent significantly more on lawyers for this than Turtle and Stormforge ever made in their combined existence.So once the dust settles, Shennah could easily "license" Turtle out to more entities like Chink Turtle down the line. There is even plausible deniability Akalix that if Turtle clones start popping up and Blizzard claims a breach of settlement, that it's the Chinks selling the code. But it would be naive to think a criminal mastermind like Shennah and some jew in Kazakhstan settled for any reason besides getting paid, when they can't personally be targeted by Blizzard. And it would be naive to think they won't try to make more money on all that code in the future.
