I won't trim the factory event's medal out of principle. I believe it's a shit factory event and it goes hand in hand with shit factory updates they do.All updates do is "please replace what you did last patch" which is dumb. It should USE what you did last patch, or at least make the factory updates last longer, by doing a horizontal start where eventually you'll replace stuff later. Having LC bats one patch, then red meds one patch, before they respectively got "replaced" is really not the way to go. Factory events should just get their own temporary space with temporary everything. Otherwise it's the same shit as a new patch factory update we get but EVEN MORE temporary. That's just not fun.

The game might fuck up in certain aspects but I can't deny that it's art direction is spectacular and very immersive. No other gacha games hit Endfield's Corpo-techno kino vibes like it does. Like, I'm walking across the Dijiang and I can *see* this being a real place. A clean, corporate tech hub where different cultures mix. The logos and the slogans scattered throughout the ship feel like something a real enterprise would write, and the factory modules also look like machines that could exist in real life and make sense from a design and structural point of view. Some things might feel like an asspull, but every asspull has an ingame explanation. Like Originium and it's capabilities so it helps with keeping the sense of immersion.I have to admit that if the game looked as shitty as NTE I would've dropped it in less than a week, but the art direction and corporate vibes are so on point that I can't quit. It's the only game that helps me scratch that itch.

You disengage with the factory for the rest of the patch, until new facilities are added next patch.
