trying to get my skills to 99 in the league and playing around with how I can take advantage of barbarian gathering and its napsack, specifically. it feel kinda unintuitive to use it this way.

It's also not really too useful for smiting, the only ore shop you can really take advantage of is in Fremennik or you can stash bars from metal dragons, but I already got my 99 for smithing a different way.

Also strangely the napsack works with barronite deposits, but not Calcified deposits.
