This new bundle and that upcoming price increase seem like the time for me to get a Switch 2 is now, should I get MKW or DKB? I'm currently leaning towards the latter.I know technically MKW would be the better deal, but I've heard some mixed things about it, and I'm in no rush to play it, while I've only heard great things about DKB, and I'm very interested in playing it, what do you think?

Then what you can do is get a download code for DK Bananza off of Amazon Japan. It tends to be the cheapest way to get Switch 2 games these games. I don't know if I'm regressing or what, I don't think I am. I finally got around to watching the Super Mario Galaxy movie. I despised the first one for being a subversive piece of infantile dogshit that spat all over Mario's roots. When that one came out, I spent threads upon threads tearing into how truly despicable and bastardizing it was until people were forced to acknowledge the validity of my points, which seem to have carried a lot furthet and longer than I expected them to, but that's just the nature of the truth, I guess, I can't claim it as mine.I thought the sequel was a significant improvement in storytelling, action, and characterization. At least a 6/10 kid's movie. Mario still isn't quite Mario, Peach still isn't Peach, the voice acting is still a mixed bag between pretty good and phoned in/soulless, but the way these not-Mario and not-Peaches were handled were far closer to the original synergy than what the original film's messaging seemed to be prioritizing. The action was definitely better. The story, while not great, also had a much more coherent structure, even if there were still several detours into nonsequitur scenes. I'm too drunk and tired from wageslaving to go into detail, but overall, I'm not sure why the first one got so much praise, while this one got a harsher reception. It's an improvement. It's a sequel to dogshit, so you can't expect perfection, maybe I went into it with tempered expectations and cooled outrage, but still, by its own merits, it's both a better kid's movie and a better Mario movie.
