And below me was an endless pit. As i made my way forward i tired to use the cellphone in my inventory to trigger the Gaster garbage noisy thing, but the menu closed down, and a dialogue box appeared with Susie's and Ralsei's face and voice overlapping, nd the text got cut off too fast before i could read it. After like 4 seconds of that it stopped, and inside the blackness of the dialogue box was a creepy smiling face that i could just make out if i squinted my eyes, staring back at me. Experiencing an annoyingly sleepless night as Asgore peacefully snores into my back while holding me close with thankful ignorance of my state since he'd almost definitely avoid sleep to keep me company, and throughout the consideration of possible self-entertainment methods my eyes keep drifting down to his arms linked over my chest as I wonder how much feeling them up I could sneak in without awakening him (turns out it was quite a bit more than I expected as I ended up outright squeezing his biceps to the tune of unbroken snoozing until I joined him). Shakily applying some gauze around a massive gash on Asgore's leg caused by a thin stone being blasted into it by the string trimmer that he attempts to reassure me isn't that serious even despite it being a frightening black slice carved across his calf that isn't bleeding whatsoever, and as I manage to steel myself and get his leg wrapped I humbly apologize for him having to witness my nosebleeds in the past since I'm finally seeing what the other side of this horror looks like (he gave me a long hug afterwards to promise that it would heal right back up in a few days, but I made him promise in turn that he'd do his best to avoid any such injuries in the future in favor of letting me do riskier activities as I'd very much rather avoid ever seeing a dark chunk torn into his body when he gets hurt ever again). What doesn’t make sense is that the darkners shouldn’t actually have a choice on being inside Hometown. Pippins is a die. You can physically pick him up and chuck him into the closet and he should be there from a naive understanding of the rules. Personally I’m writing it off as a gameplay abstraction, which I tend to do for most odds and ends because otherwise you’re probably setting yourself up for.a. lot of disappointments.
