In base DLC, like 4 out of 5 anomalies are just reskinned raids, sometimes without even having an extra complication or oddity - then capture the raider and shove them off into the back corner of your base for the next several hours.But I also didn't find most of AE's anomalies all that... interesting? Granted, the one playthrough I did with it, I don't think I interacted with everything it added. It was also some time ago (early 2025? Maybe even late 2024), so no idea if they've added or improved stuff since them. Maybe I should give it another go, along with any other major anomaly mods, just to see how the landscape has changed since then.
