Vague question, but how do you guys navigate maps consistently and safely as possible when you just wanna quest and leave?It feels like extracting often forces me to cross open areas, move through high-traffic areas, or stay exposed to countless angles and hiding spots.Weirdly enough, CQB maps feel safer to me because you can clear most angles methodically, and the game rewards aggression and mechanics enough that circle strafing, offensive running freelook, quick peeking, bhoping, etc. can save you even if someone is ratting.But on some maps, like customs when I spawn at big red and need to cross the map to extract, it feels like I can't avoid people.I don't even have flea market yet, I just wanna get quests done and fuck off, even though I love PvP and don't mind dying, I just don't have the rubbles to chase gunfights yet.I’m still pretty new, but my mechanics are decent but maybe I’m missing something fundamental?Also, is queuing up with randoms a trap to just kill the other guy and get their kit or I just have bad luck?

It's hard to just spell out specifically, but every map has high and low traffic routes. Tasks often take you to POIs so once you're there it's anyone's guess, but there's a lot you can do in your entrance/exit to those locations that will boost your survivability. I guess my advice is to learn what paths all the streamerslaves take, and avoid those. Try watching some tarkov vids on youtube of sweaties and take note of how they travel through a raid off spawn. You'll notice they oftentimes take super direct routes to POIs. You'll want to avoid doing that so you don't run into them.

Twitch drops shit and giving streamers a bit too much time of day during COVID was annoying but it was pretty minor in comparison to the fleshing out of that initial visison. Then two years ago they shifted away from pure autism with Arena and the backlash and sucking up to the vocal zoomer parts of the community with Unheard and the patches shortly after and it's like any desire to make THE game that was the culmination of the past 20 years of development in FPS games has just vanished. The goofy cosmetics, dropping all the RPG elements, keeping game mechanics simplified to stay in line with Arena, etc. It's incredibly retarded and juvenile to say, I know, but does anyone feel like the game (and BSG) is slipping through their fingers?

Any good methods for xp grinding other than transit spamming these days? I'm going to try and prestige a bunch while the requirements are low and I doubt I'd be able to get decent access to labyrinth other than the first card or two so that's out.
