How is this game? I've been playing MMOs for well over 20 years. Maplestory, Guild Wars 1, WoW, FFXIV, and Destiny 2. I quit MMOs for awhile and bounced around between many different games but I've never really felt "at home" in anything like I did in those MMOs. I recently picked Maplestory back up but I've got a feeling it's not gonna stick. I figured it's just time to accept MMOs are the only games I can actually enjoy but I don't want to go back to FFXIV or god forbid WoW and Destiny 2 is beyond dead which still makes me sad. The only real thing I'm interested in is raiding and dungeons. Is the game worth picking up this late in it's life span and how would it be for a new player? I remember picking up the game at launch and it being nothing like the original GW so I never really got into it but maybe now it's time to give it a proper try.

>>566576513You can try Dungeon & Dragons Online. It's obviously dated in some aspects, especially the UI/UX, but dungeons is the main thing you do. It has multiple mechanics for endgame progression. When you reach reach level caps you can reset/reincarnate/prestige your character, start from scratch, completely remaking it, while gaining a small permanent bonus. This can be done multiple times, for deferent race and class combinations. Makes all low dungeons still relevant and people run them regularly for gear or exp. A lot of them are quite good. It also has a traditional max level raiding and dungeon running, if you don't want to reincarnate asap. There is a thread on /vm/, it's a unique game.
