I feel like the whole FSF collab debacle is the exact opposite of the Mahoyo collab. Whereas the people over at FGO wanted Strange Fake to be in the game for a long, long time but kept getting delayed indefinitely until the very last second just before the new story arc begins (which coincidentally aligns with when they finally got the actual FSF anime out), they never wanted Mahoyo to be in the game, but Nasu insisted that they should have it and push it out the door, even when the Mahoyo movie has not even entered production. Either way, none of the collab characters showed up in the M Spectrum cutscenes due to these behind-the-scenes debacles.
