The gameplay is very clunky, character progression is pretty boring, and it's not hard to build your character "wrong" and box yourself into some very tedious strategies for things like the final fight. And the early 3d graphics hold up significantly worse than either the 2d of the Infinity engine games or the improved 3d of Mass Effect only a few years later. It looks old. That said there are some good characters (Mission&Zaalbar, HK-47) and it has some of my favorite moments of cartoony, puppy-kicking, moustache-twirling evil in a setting where that kind of thing feels naturally at home rather than out of place (Oh no I'm faaallliinng for the Dark Side!). So I recommend playing as an evil asshole to make it more interesting if you do decide to play.

Flat-footing enemies in particular can be a strong ability, and Azata has a level 2 spell that trivially eliminates the possible downsides of the haste song. I don't know if Opera Singer fits with your character concept though.
