Alright, my adventures in Exfil Zone PvE continue, and I've come to the conclusion that once you're on a map that's more dense then Dams, suppressed weapons are no longer optional. I was able to fight my way through the mall despite getting jump scared by not!Killa rounding a corner on me and while I blew through all 300ish rounds I carry minus some dregs left in mags for my 5.45 AK and killed a fucking army of the moderately geared scavs, I got all the missions for it done and now am back to much more chill stuff that has me going around the outdoors again instead of being stuck inside while patrols of scavs spawn all around me. Suppressors seem to fuck with the enemy AI enough that they don't all know exactly where you are the moment you open fire, and also seems to have a delay on them noticing you if you've changed angles. The quest descriptions are ping ponging between very helpful and not helpful at all, which is annoying to have to pull up Google between rounds sometimes, but overall, it's a lot of fun and really scratches the itch akin to ITR1 for me with loot goblin'ing and hectic firefights, though no story and no horror-ish elements is traded for a much longer playtime

I logged off because I was starving and it was making me moody. I decided to make some quick burritos: half beef/half pork mince cooked with some seasoning added and then like 1/4th of a taco bell branded seasoning mix added, then a cup of white rice, put into high-fiber low-carb flour tortillas with cheese and tomatos, then put on a baking sheet fold down with pam and baked for 6 minutes to give the tortillas a bit of crunch and a sealed seam, taco bell style. The blue sparks on the ground are safe to walk over but the small area where the buzzing is coming from will set off the whole thing. Most recent update made throwing probes into them actually activate them so you can potentially feel out where the avenues between them are. Hard to tell exactly how big the activation zone is though. In itr1 I basically never used probes even around the electric anomalies once I had learned their maximum size. It'll just take some learning.
