>>566407742it adds a shitload QoL I would never want to play vanilla without, but at the same time the devs are also pretentious fart sniffing elitists who have a very solid idea of what they think elden ring should bethe mod is harder than vanilla by default (but there's also in game in mod settings to lower this back to normal er level of difficulty and even an actual "easy mode" too) and a lot of previous enemies that were total pushovers have been given more health and some extra movesthe input reading is just how the game is and that stays but you do have a variety of new tools to deal with the nonstop attacks, like deflecting, spirit ashes taking aggroi wouldn't say it fixes the game, but it provides a different way to experience it that i'm currently enjoying - they have this "fortune" system that basically function as classes letting you really hyperspecialize, i'm using the bulwark one at the moment which means i can deflect and block with greatshields and not get thrown back and knocked to the ground by enemy "heavy" attacks, so that's quite a fun guard counter based playstyle, and something you'd never be able to do in vanilla
