By looking at interest graphs it shows the post-Engage period is the deadest FE has been since New Mystery which had no Western release. It's lower right now than it was prior to Engage. Fire Emblem would be in a better state if they never released Engage.

I genuinely wonder how feh is suppose to attract new players. I know you can easily get 1000 'free' rolls by doing story and shit. But there's no ease in route. You're immediately put against units with 10 different effects in 1 weapon and many conditions. Loads of effects that are specially made for certain abilities, the players might not even know about, such as pierce and its corresponding %DR. Meanwhile all texts are chapters of a novel.It feels like this game is impossible to get into if you didn't start around the first few years

FEH stopped being bite sized FE when AR came out. At that point the original vision was lost and we should have just gotten a real FE campaign every book that we could slot our units into alongside the askrshits and other OCs.
