This mode has great strategic variety if you ever bother to go for it. Running dual core alliance, subfaction only, etc. are all viable, even optimal strats depending on your rolls. Even resilient is viable if you take Qalaisa. Yeah, you can run the polish horse every time investor isn't banned, but even then you don't need to run Yan exclusively.

Why are all events in Arknights so hard even for beginners? Mobs level 20 in story stages feel fairly fair depending on the type.Mobs level 20 in events not only have some gimmick but also feel beefier and hit way harder despite their card saying that they only do B type damage and have C type defense or whatever. My units are also level 20 btw. I didnt wanna borrow a OP support because I wanted to try to solve the stage on my own. I get overwhelmed in no time.
