I'm feeling really weird about NTE. It's honestly a mess. The game is pretty unpolished, the writing is a complete mess, the whole genAI debacle is annoying. But also it's somehow a combination of things/genres I've wanted for a long time in a single game (which is also why I've been waiting for Ananta, but it's still vaporware sadly). After starting the game I never thought I'd play it for more than a day, yet here I am on my second week of staying awake until 5 AM playing the game (casually, I just enjoy the anomalies and the city and do quests very slowly). Despite the gacha and despite a lot of the game feeling soulless it still somehow does have the sovl.

In the mean time, I can still complete future quests so then I can just buzz through like 5 levels at a time.
