You know what, I think I got what the problem was.It felt like we missed a patch between 3.1 and 3.3.3.2 happened, but it was utterly inconsequential to the main thread.Denia is the "main antagonist" ala cristoforo but she's just in the background for 1 filler patch, her entire character and potential foil done in 2 minutes. She's then thrust into this "unwilling antagonist" role, and I'm supposed to feel sorry for her with zero build up towards her. Hiyuki has been the super savior of all time and space, and they did a bit with the 3.2.1 quest, but she just shows up, one shots something, then fucks off. We then spend the first part of 3.3.0 just building up Hiyuki's character solo, while also gutting the possibilities 2.8 presented.I'm almost tinfoil hat theory that 3.4 was supposed to be the actual conclusion, but they had to push the collab so they just rushed the whole fucking plot.I hope 3.3.1 can explain and justify Denia's character more but I highly doubt it will fix how bad 3.3.0 felt.

Anyone else just kinda lost all interest in most other gachas at this point? After finishing the entire Lahai-Roi arc, I'm just fucking don't care about other gachaslop but WuWa. I'm a lorefag who watches every cutscene and reads every bit of text in the game, and I can safely say that both narratively and lorewise (and especially story presentation-wise), WuWa is just plain superior to everything else besides maybe Fate. Everything has been so meticulously thought out and I keep finding things in even recently that loop back to earlier parts of the game's worldbuilding that it's honestly insane. Like you can tell this game overrarching narrative was actually thought out very far in advance. Same can't be said for ZZZ (also watch every cutscene and do all the side quests), where I can tell they're just making shit up as they go along atp. There's no grand plan, and story presention keeps getting worse (5 minutes on a still image for a date scene with Cissia in 2.7)Gameplay, character-design, and graphics wise it also is just's mogging everything else right now. Yes I think WuWa (on max settings) looks better than even Endfield, I'm convinced anyone who thinks otherwise plays WuWa on mid-to-low settings. I play wuwa first and foremost because of the gameplay, and good character designs. the story being good is just a really nice bonus. it still doesnt come close to actual good gacha stories like limbus (at least up until canto 7, thats where I dropped it since it was devolving into shounenshit) and a lot of people say nikke's story is really good as well.that being said I really liked 3.1 and 3.3, and 2.2 because cart is my favorite character in the game. but I cant play more than 1 gacha at once so you could say I have "lost interest" in other gachas as wuwa is the only one I'm playing at the moment

Its lost a lot of that since 1.0 and its more linear now but it got me very invested at the start that would otherwise be a slog. And the story/presentation and character designs along with fun combat kept me happy since then.Every gacha I've tried to get into since these underlying systems are at the forefront. I can't have fun because I'm more concerned about the autism shit and its hard to get into the game. I don't know if I've just "matured" as a gacha player or if these other games just do a shitty job masking the shit underneath.
