So something I’m kinda confused about, was Mewo not implied to be dead in the real world? I just remember a lot of people freaking out that they killed Mewo in the manga (which that seemingly wasn’t even the case), but I was always under the impression that Mewo was dead in the game too.

Which appears to be more allegorical for Mari dying in the hanging and not the fall than anything directly to do with Mewo.
