rebumping this: What's the best yugioh anime outside the original? And I'd argue the anime kinda sucks commpared to the manga. I have fond memories of GX and 5D but I heard both of them shit the ball pretty hard. 5D more so than GX but GX being completely aimless and just bloating the plot and characters up all the damn time. In comparison I heard Zexal ends up being pretty good but it takes a long way to get there. Don't know about the others.

So I've been running a mini experiment with /dng/ the last week. I have come to the conclusion that the most sensitive and emotionally unstable series fanbase are Arc-V and GX fans with Arc-V just edging ahead of GX fans. DM, 5Ds, Zexal and Vrains generally had little to no pushback on insults while 5Ds seems to have a dedicated autist that hates it.
