I don't really see why the story frames An as some sociopath because her idea to have someone control the AI as an intermediary felt like it had much more sense than Tau's, which led to Edda, which we are dealing with even now.I guess they thought she'd make a Warhammer brain computer, but I'm thinking she intended for Longyan to be the proxy and have her possess full autonomy so nothing wrong could happen. I think the main problems we are facing is that Edda's fuckery screwed the system so everyone thinks it's locking Longyan as some sacrifice.Kind of like Generator Rex that he was the intended user of the nanites that warped reality but as nobody explained it to him it caused everything to go haywire.
