I was documenting a bit of Stronghold boss info for a thing, and wanted to talk about armor fag a little to give some info on it since people say a lot that he runs like a bitch and times you out. He has 90% DR permanently, and you're supposed to attack the summons to hit him when he's on the other side of the map. Except that there's two problems. Two of three have 90% DR unless you break their shield. One has a 5 hitcount shield and is supposed to be the freebie. But the second has an elememe shield (so only Yan and a Burn hammer will break unless you put in a custom elememer) and the other a 125k HP Arts shield, and not only do some teams like Laterammo and Aegir use majority physical damage, the boss and summons have 60 RES compared to the piss poor 1100 DEF so using Arts is significantly worse in general than other bosses (Armor has 30, Pipe 50 but has no crowd control like Armor). But the point is that the boss rushes to the highest DEF op on your side every once in a while as your only way of forcing movement. The summons? They go wherever they want until he recalls them. So you can absolutely have a run where your elememer gets the free summon while the other side gets the two they can't break. Or the right shields go to the right places, but then run around somewhere else out of range of everyone after they refresh. If you don't break the shields, you're hitting a 90% DR enemy that transfers the remaining 10% to an enemy with 90% DR as well. So if you wonder why sometimes you'll beat his ass and sometimes he seems to take no damage, that's why.
