Assuming your mag is around 400-450 mahalito isn't going to be one shotting anything in an enemy row even if they're weak to fire, but Katino 3 is an almost guaranteed sleep on most A4 enemies, which puts them in one shot range for your fighters. Sleeping enemies can't dodge attacks either, and a lot of enemies in A4 have high evasion + blizzard chill nerfing your accuracy. Also the goblins there are fast as fuck and if you get a big group of them the archers/mages can outspeed and fuck you up, so you want to build your mage to have >95 speed and katino their backrow before they can attack. Later once you hit around 550 mag you can just nuke them with La-spells.
