Having the player use a bunch of low leveled, under equipped characters that in some cases needs to hit the enemy with pleasure attacks was both boring and tedious.Story wise, it was okay. I do have to say, I did like seeing locations that you don't ever explore in the base game. Just showing that there is a much bigger world out there that Luka just doesn't experience. The second half was an absolute pain to play through going blind, and becomes just boring after knowing the set of actions you need to progress.Story wise it was okay, but the character interactions was quite nice, especially since many of them are not really given much spotlight in the base game.

Hello. A few months back I shared a translation of the assets of VH II. Well, here is the translation of the assets of VH III.https://gofile.io/d/RQl8K3This patch is meant to be applied after Dargoth's patch, and only translates graphics, not the story or scenes. Just drop it into an already patched game, replace files, and enjoy. You could theoretically merge it with dargoth's patch and install it all at once, but these days I'm pretty sure it's harder to find an untranslated copy than an English one.As a sidenote, a lot of assets that were translated were done poorly. Basically, the original text was either blurred or covered crudely, ruining the original effects (text over a red gradient would have a red rectacle plastered over, for example). I figured most of these could be fixed through some basic editing, went down a rabbit hole and basically got the original assets and removed whatever original text wasn't covered by the new English one as close to the rest of the background as possible (way too many flower patterns...). Here I uploaded a pic to show what I meant. (Original, Dargoth's, and this patch)Profiles on the picture book were made using DeepL. Names match those from Dargoth's patch. They differ from the names listed on the game's page on Dlsite, but replaying the game, the current names actually match those used in voicelines.No idea if I'll move on to VH 4. Its story remains untranslated from what I can see.
