So, what do we think about Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era? I think it's pretty underwhelming at the moment. Single player sucks, atmosphere is rather shitty, looks like a puddle (I'm not a fan of this art style), has way too many clunky mechanics known from Heroes 3. It feels as if its main target were HotA multiplayer autists sweating over min/maxing shit.

looks like shit compared to homm3, BUT apart from that it's basically perfect

complaining about the singleplayer is retarded because it's obvious people can make whatever dumb 80 hour challenge map redditdads want to slow drip feed their dopamine, all that will be in the game

the fact that they managed to actually iterate on and improve (in many ways) the hota 1v1 templates is kinda amazing, and playing against poles and latvians in homm3 hota 1v1 years ago i would've NEVER thought the next homm installment would be essentially catered exactly to me
