kind of torn on the repair changes. its insanely good to have a reliable source of auto regen in the transport chopper, you dont need a repair seat as bad (still nice to have though). but emergency repair only clears disable status now and basically doesnt heal at all since its a heal over time effect that is interrupted by any damage, small arms included. ground vehicle repairs seem to be blocked completely at certain points, i was repairing a tank under fire while i think 2 other engies were on it and i noticed my repair tool did nothing at all. the burst repair that diminishes also doesnt really seem that intuitive either.

I feel like the % recoil changes are based on the recoil value the weapon had before. So weapons that basically had no recoil like the SCW changed only slightly, while SGX didnt change at all and the TR7 which had the most recoil got fucked because in absolute values its recoil was already the highest. That's my anecdotal experience at least.

Does anybody else hook up a controller to use vehicles, specifically air vehicles? I seriously tried getting used to kbm controls for helis and jets but the learning curve was too much for my pea brain despite the fact that switching from controller to kbm for infantry was pretty seamless.

My main problem with the game is how it's been so casualized. The series doesn't have to be super hardcore like ARMA but it can find a nice sweet spot in the middle like BF1.
