I don't know how they plan to make this work, 3D fighters are very expensive to make and they're not a big market whatsoever (on top of the fact the market is already dominated by Tekken).Like, sure, you can get some disgruntled Tekken players, but how do you build an actual playerbase? Tekken is coasting on reused animations and legacy names, you need to make new characters and then you need to build them up so people like them, so you need some sort of Campaign or Story mode for that. Then you need high fidelity graphics because Harada is a grafix whore. Then you're building this from scratch, so easily we're talking about a 5-6 year dev cycle burning money down the drain.And for what? To take a gamble at splitting the scraps Tekken gets compared to real games? It just doesn't add up.
