Larry is good but physical normal still sucks so it’s pretty rng if you beat physical stages with the current options.

I tried my Palmer with sleepy Larry and I could definitely beat the stage but a few unlucky missed crits cost the run. Meanwhile special is just nothing but click buttons and win, so hopefully the next physical normal is actually worth it.
