It would reveal the fusion monster and the material used for it, then lock you to synchros and fusions. Since cards like medius, fallen of Albaz, and Cartesia's are all cards with fusions that work as synchro materials for elf note and branded.

Reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck, choose 1 of the Fusion Materials mentioned on it, and add to your hand or Special Summon that monster, from your Deck or GY, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck the turn you activate this card, except Synchro Monsters. Yeah it was pretty funny to watch all the YT reactions to the Tryout with the 6 card opening. I was adamant that it was obvious this would making going 2nd overpowered, but you had a lot of mixed opinions.
If you start the game with an extra card, that's a free send for Super Poly, Droplet, or an extra handtrap name. You literally start the game with more cards in hand than your opponent! it's an uphill for them if you open 3+ disruptions.
Going second decks are bad because going second is a linear strategy. Break the board. A deck where all disruptions are in the hand or GY would be impossible to break for a go-second deck.

i only played a FS kashtira azamina white forest pile for a bit before the last wave of support and it was alright, you aren't truly out of options since you can just pivot into fiendsmith at any moment, plus, tract is full combo
the main cons are the usual with most combo decks, you get double raped by droll, you die if they imperm your normal summon, and there's zero plays into maxxcharmies other than the woes trap
haven't played elfnotes yet but the spellcaster typing will enable tales of the white forest more often than even the base archetype itself
