It's hard to reconcile the first part of that with the latter. I remember chuckling back in GV1 when Xeno asked GV if he was alright after he killed Elise, and he said "I'm good" and that he'd give Xeno the highlights of Elise's death like it's game of football, like the entire past level of fucked upness didn't happen at all.

GV gets super fired up and poetic about smiting evil with lightning, then afterward, his tone is a combo of "mission accomplished, glad that guy is dead, I'll grab some tacos on the way back" and "well that happened."

Zonda's death was also funny because it's so edgy, and GV is completely unsympathetic despite her age and learning her history. Copen might have had more of a sympathetic reaction than GV if Mytyl's voice overlaying Zonda's death was a hallucination rather than her telepathically reaching out to him.

Eden is an organization full of professional victims, ordinary humans are a complete non-issue in this series. Asimov proved in iX that in actual conflict, adepts would rape humanity six ways from sunday and they would never EVER have a chance to bridge the gap, not even a little bit. Probably because one side can kill via bluetooth and the other just has to deal with it. The best part? He didn't even need the muse to do it. Its only use is to keep all the anime fuckheads in line so they don't go and Adept Moment™ it all away.

Bear in mind that the only reason Eden were a threat was because Nori (Kurona) let them take Mytyl on Xiao's orders. If it wasn't for that, Eden likely couldn't have gotten past her (same maid who could have dealt with Asimov if her priority wasn't to save Copen). It really was all calculated by Nothingman to get that pendant.

GV didn't change much between GV1 and GV2, he just went from being radically pro-adept to radically against pro-adepts. The motive is ultimately the same: Joule. His attitude and methods were still the same.

He doesn't struggle with himself, he believes he is right, and his enemies are beyond redemption, which is hypocritical as he will be the first to admit he has sinned. He is often satisfied after killing other adepts. He says that he doesn't introspect/look back because that makes him weak or will destroy him.

GV3, for all its fault, cares a great deal about interrogating Gunvolt's history and forcing him to struggle and change. It makes him face what he's done in a lower stressed, Joule-free scenario (even if the world is ending). People don't understand that GV3's plot revolves completely around Gunvolt. GV's history and doomsday are the only threads it carries through from the prior games and stories. GV eating Asimov's soul and thinking that if you zapped enough people, all of your problems would go away was why the world was irrevocably fucked by Dragonvolt to begin with.

Your average low level adept is still going to the equivalent of an Olympian with incredibly good reflexes and above average IQ just from the boost he or she gets to his physical and mental abilities. It's why Eden soldiers are so dangerous despite all being teenage irregulars rather than professional military types.

There's a scene in the Strikers Bonus where Gibril is in a gunfight, and to regular humans, she's moving and picking targets so quickly she's a blur. It looked like she was moving at "lightspeed." Granted, Gibril is a high level adept, but that's what we're dealing with.

Zonda is translation issues. English Zonda is fanfiction. They cooked with her tho. Most chilling, unlikable, and evil villain in Gunvolt, only they did it for a villain you should be feeling ambivalent towards. If only they had written Asimov like that instead.

It's probably because Gunvolt was already the "blue one", and so traditions dictate that the rival character must be the "red one." Back in Gal Gun Shinobu wore a red tie and red headband, it wasn't until Gal Guardians released that she was firmly cemented as the "blue one," but at that point iX2 was already released and Copen had conveniently also switched his headpiece(horns?) to a blue one. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether there is any intentional design overlap or not.

He's right from his own personal experience. A lot of his activities became the fuel to justify Sumeragi's increasing crackdowns. But GV was never born an adept, and he grew up in a relatively peaceful nation, so to him, he earned all the hate and oppression.
To Eden, on the other hand, they were just minding their own business as a little boy or girl when Christfag nonadepts rounded up and tortured their families to death medieval style in the public square to hooting and hollering crowds just because they had weird hair. So it just comes off as victim blaming.

Gunvolt isn't wrong about that though. Not only does he have plenty of first hand experience with how prone to violence adepts are in general, you can also see in the Quinn short story that the news are coming in from all over how adepts are destabilizing the entire world. One of Gunvolt's core beliefs is that coexistence must be possible for humans and adepts, thus he has zero sympathy for other adepts who're working to destroy what little positive relation there still is between the two. He's like an honest jew in a world full of kikes.

Even against Copen he's told that adepts are too dangerous for humans to live with, and GV has nothing to say, because he knows Copen is right.

When you guys talk about nonadept male x female adept, is this what you imagine? Mohn is not a shorty, but he looks like one next to Lusamine. He's actually a chad, but he visibly ages and puts on pounds. Meanwhile, Lusamine doesn't change visibly at all from the time she's a teenager, even after two children.
