Nope. Just that there are plenty of options for dealing with tanks. I really can't remember the last time a tank dominated a match and stood uncontested. Planes can take care of tanks easily and is one such option is my point.

The problem with that is not every nation even had a better AT gun that would be viable to give them.
Also, giving ALL engineers AT guns would negate AT gunners in non-AT/Engineer squads. Also, AT guns are just used by greyniggers to farm the zone 99% of the time.

Even IF they added AT guns to every squad, they should at least remove all the HE shells from everyone but engies/ATs which already have access to them. They should only get a (very small) amount of AP shells, like say a half-dozen. However, it also means that people WILL start using the AT guns as ways to just fucking block up roads and entrances to cap points, leading to the same issues of bots not knowing how the fuck to path as in the issue of giving them more buildables.

How many squad slots do you have? Maybe I don't feel that sense of having limited options because I have 12 squad slots. So bringing a tank, fighter plane, attacker plane, and a saboteur or guerrilla squad isn't an issue. But if I only had 3 or whatever the default is then I can see your point. Either way, as a tanker, the fact that every soldier on the field could have an EP/AT mine/TNT and a way to deal with you kind of makes sitting back more enticing. The problem with that is there may not even be an effective angle to contest the point if you have to sit back. And if you do then surely there is at least one player on the team with a means to take out the tank.

The Turner Light Carbine is good, but still vastly inferior to pistol carbines. The power of the pistol carbines comes in being able to just tap at head level and wipe entire squads with laser headshots. The Turner isn't so good at that because 10 rounds just isn't as spam capable.

If you ever have body armour + Vitality on a guy and you survive with a sliver of HP (like 1 HP), that survival was only possible because of body armour. Generally speaking, body armour + Vit allows you to survive 1 extra shot at most combat ranges. That may not sound like much but it's a 100% TTK difference with the G41, for example.

Yes and no. Yes to the several options part, no to the multiple orders for some items part. Last time they did that was the Berlin event where you chose between (multiple) swords and the red PPS-42. It wasn't even the good one with more damage it was the shitty one with the same damage.

In any case, I think this is a very good style moving forward for these old GO and event items where you get to pick a limited amount out of a larger pool. You can get what you might have missed out on previously or finish off that squad that just needs one more copy or what have you.

Coming back to USA BR2, they are so much stronger now. Not only are the teams good but the amount of gear added to the lower BRs have made them extremely varied with a ton of strong gear.

The "meta" pick is the MP 35, because it's probably the strongest BR II SMG in the game, or among the strongest. The Beretta 1918 and Light Rifle are also extremely strong. Funnily, as neat as the Mondragon and Farquhar-Hill are, they aren't really the "meta" picks because BR IV is such a wasteland. They are outrageously OP in a vacuum, but not within the context of needing to face T20s and FG 42s.

As for the Lewis Assault Rifle, it's good, but it feels boring to use. Dunno why. Maybe it's the super low ROF but even when I do well with it, I feel kinda frustrated. Having a third one would be nice but I also have the Chattyratty for my MG squad for a bit of variety. Shockingly I don't really have much use for ANY of these event guns, so I guess I will just grab all the "small" rewards.

It depends. I'd say the best Jap BR2 weapon is the Hotchkiss LMG. My MG-30s in that Germany lineup are also used very heavily. Also, those MKb-35s are actually assault rifles.

Been using the turner a little while now, and I enjoy the feel of it more than the M1 Carbine despite that both occupy the same use.
It reminds me of a PCC counterpart to the Winchester G30M rifle, albeit with a magazine.
Very comfy, and being a 2 shot kill to the torso at sub 100yds makes it quite enjoyable.

Your average player will probably get 1-2 kills per mag. Yeah, it's better than all the tree options if TTK is your concern. It is arguably better than the PPS-43, but probably not better than the Type 100 (Early). Keep in mind the MP 35 (Short) fires 50% faster than the MP 40, meaning it kills significantly faster. Enlisted occupies the worst space between gun nuts and history buffs who are WAY too hung up on semantics and technicalities. So they hear "Assault Rifle" (which wasn't even its name) and they get all 'well ackshully' when the reality is 1)the name is wrong in the first place as the Snail often fucks up names and 2) definitionally, these terms are rarely applied so stringently or with Specificity by either the engineers making them or the officers/government stooges doing the official adoption. Remember the *MP*43/44 was considered an SMG until an offhand comment by Hitler, and the AK47 was considered a SMG until thr AKM was released. Even the 'standard' definition of an assault rifle excludes and includes many weapons that should not be (i.e. would a P90 be a Assault Rifle? It is arguably better than the PPS because it is a two shot kill at point blank avast Vitality users where the PPS is 3. The OVP is fun but it's also just worse than the Beretta 1918. I actually use a variety of guns at all BRs because I like to have fun, but there are obviously guns that are better than others.
