I was setting up ziplines today, and I swear - the second auxillary was the product of a deranged mind. It's smack dab in the middle, so there's no going around it unless you're willing to go to the other side of the lake and cut through the fields instead - but the left-hand side (where I started, since I extended this network from Wuling) is completely sealed off. They specifically built the wall higher so that you can't put a zipline on the top, nor connect to the rooftop at an angle; the bottom doesn't have any extensions like the others, and the doorways are too small to zipline through. And on the right, the nice little garden roof? Completely inaccessible to zipline construction, purely cosmetic.In the end, I had to use, like, five ziplines going around the top, where there was a slight outcropping that I could hit from the left, then break a window to get through the halls to slip out to the right. Massively wasteful. I can't wait until some enterprising soul manages to set up ziplines on the central islands so that I can massively simplify my setup there...

Phew! Had to update the factory on my own since my favorite youtuber wasn't making a post palm-top video. It was tough but I got it done, lads: deleted the palm-top stuff and added in heavy liquid xiranite production to explore the test area. This is the stuff right here.

Been playing some NTE and no joke, Endfield feels at least 5+ years ahead of it. The difference in quality when it comes to textures, models, game world, animations and most important: game systems, are staggering. Just spent all my daily stamina for the gearing system and I legit got nothing - good old useless "+HP%" main stat with good substats. Need to run around and kill normal enemies for item drops your characters needs for ascension, spend stamina on boss enemies AND stamina on weekly boss enemies so the timegating is insane. There's also this weird half-second delay when you interact with anything in the UI. Overall it just feels really outdated after playing EndfieldTheir gacha is better tho. No 50/50 and apparently you can get a lot of free weapon pulls per patch.

I mean, yeah, I'm doing it, but I KNOW it's insane.I honestly feel like it's a misstep for them to have released the area before the new conduits or whatever, though. It's just going to annoy people, given them a broken toy that's tedious to use this far before giving them something to fix it.
