Dang, Mercy really is the worst character in the game huh. I say this as someone who likes her and plays her a lot. Sure, damage boost is a strong ability, especially when paired with characters that have burst so you just surprise people who expect a certain amount of damage, but other than that she is pretty lame. Every other support either kills people or has some kind of amazing utility. Mercy's "amazing utility" is Rez, but against a good team, people just push forward over dead bodies so she shouldn't have very many rez opportunities in an average match once you get into games with good players. Meanwhile Bap immortality field is always good, Ana dart and antiheal are always good, Kiri's Suzu is always good, etc etc. In fact, you might even argue that stuff like dart and suzu get better against good players since it's more important to use them and you can counter better things, whereas Mercy's utility gets less and less good against better players.I have all her skins and I'm a huge waifufag with her, and I've been playing her for like a decade she's always been my favorite character from the start, but now that I'm in diamond mmr, I just feel like I'm better off playing Moira and just pumping out 10k+ damage and healing numbers while never dying, or playing one of the supports that just kill people like Bap/Kiri.oh also I tried Fortnite since she's in that game now and it's actually better than I expected. It's not just a battle royale anymore, they have custom games just like we do and I've been playing a bunch of fan made modes that are actually quite fun.
