If I was a drifter and I helped the child, would i have gotten whoever I helped, or would it be someone I know, like Dominus John? Duviri came about because "our" Drifter read a book or something. If every "drifter" helped the child, would they have their own "duviri" in the shape of whatever they were more familiar with? Would they just be on the ship, having gone insane? Did the Drifter have access to the Zariman at all, or were they locked inside Duviri until Teshin helped them escape? When did that happen as well? We know there's more Operators because we see them beside her, so each of us are one of the children. Was all of us friends with Adis? Or is Adis just the stand in for our own friend? It seems like the story is just focusing on one character, but we all are this one character, but we all can't be the same person. I really don't think they should've ever focused in on this idea of our character being The Protagonist, and just left us as the faceless goons we were. Please answer these questions.
