As someone who is in the server, CWG is full of buff troons, they put all kinds of overpowered bullshits on the mechs and crank the braindead clock to 11 as if the game isn't already easy enough, the bug front basically plays itself since you have squads of SEAFs acting as walking sentries for example. Hate swedes all you want but at least they tried to make the game still somewhat challenging by not going crazy on buff and player freedom.

I noticed that when I shoot striders in the dick with the Deadeye they jump to the side and I need to readjust my aim, but shoot them with the talon and they stand still and let me get off all three shots. Yeah, anybody willing to even consider it as an option when EATs do 2000 damage and come with zero commitment nor require a backpack, and the Quasar with its unlimited ammo also comes with 2000 damage and no backpack slot.

Some of you niggers are like Arrowhead, you have zero grasp of just how much more power a weapon with a backpack slot needs over its non-backpack contemporaries to even enter the discussion of viability. This is why the Cremator is the biggest winner of the three most recent backpack-ified variants of old weapons, because the Cremator has a massively notable increase in damage, range and ammunition over the Flamethrower. Whoever made it understood the backpack needs to justify its existence.

I'll need to see how much the drag change buffs it. If RR was put in to a medium/long range weapon niche I wouldn't mind terribly (provided the other AT were viable). Being a powerful cross-map clearer is a unique niche and its what the RR was for a time. Spear should excel in the medium range and be an instant fuck you to armour. As a former Spear main who switched to RR, I think the two should be on roughly equal footing like the EAT/Commando. I think balancing needs to look at how much it differentiates itself from the Quasar. RR should definitely do more damage than Quasar, at the very least every missed non-critical shot should feel worthwhile. Make it a guarunteed armour break, letting teammates exploit the opportunity you create. Another buff I think I would make would be to speed up or remove extending the EAT animation, just let it come out faster.

Heh, that is my experience too. Whenver I want to solofag some side objetive but it becomes obvious I will die or get overwhlemed soon, I just fuck off to the other side of the map and destroy some outposts, return, and then the side objective is usually empty or with very little enemies.
Seems to greatly affect jammer and AA/mortar emplacements the most.
