Well, Limbo's in the circuit, and his parts finish in just a minute, so I cranked him out and gave him a try. Holy crap I can see why he's not well liked, his whole kit about not killing anything. But not just that, it keeps the rest of the squad from killing things too, how the Hell did this ever get approved. BUT, I am liking his passive for things like Capture, Sabotage, Spy, any mission where you ignore enemies and rush to objectives. Just roll and he can't be hit, but he can't hurt anything. But if you're just going to capture a target, who cares? It's not as good as just being fast, but it's certainly better than some frames do that don't have speed either. Also I can see why a new player might like him, they can piggyback into any mission at any level with no fear and just parasitize affinity from the squad to level up quickly.

I'm addicted to playing nova, she's so comfy, I love the sound her 1 does when it nukes everything and her kit works well together. Being able to run around and nuke steel path enemies with a single press of 1 without doing anything else is, dare I say it, fun. Also it's very fun to hit her 4(fast) at the last stage of jade elevator ride and watch cracked out of the wazoo enemies destroy the pod in seconds. Too bad it regens and continues moving.

Mesmer Skin is great, it doesn't matter how hard he's hit, it staggers enemies and can be recast. Now let's compare it to it's only real competitor, Iron Skin. Requires slightly more skill to use, since it relies on getting hit in a 3 second window to get big numbers, needs an augment to recast and "recasting" requires using a much more expensive ability in terms of energy. But, it can also be turned into an attack, it gives you a second shield gate, and it protects from most CC. Both of those abilities have their own distinct merits, which one is better is a matter of preference. The same is not true for Limbo, nothing he does is arguably as good as other frames that fill the same role. He CAN be used for defense, but there's no reason to prefer him for it over other specialists.

I am mildly bummed about melee situation in warframe, there's no real reason to use anything other than okina prime or paedos with melee influence. Other weapons deal comparable damage but don't have all those juicy movement buffs.

Everything is way easier than the community makes you think it is, because every Warframe guide is written for either for brainless retards or autismo number crunchers. Everything is pretty low stakes, so just try anything out. It's extremely unlikely anyone will both notice and care if you're underperforming, and if you get gear checked then you probably only wasted like 8 minutes.As for when to try out archon hunts specifically, if you can comfortably do bounties in the Zariman then you can definitely do archon hunts. You could also get carried in pubs just for the loot. If you don't like that idea but still want to try to do archon hunts asap, bring a budget Rhino build and you'll be hard to kill while contributing a lot to team damage. Archon hunts and shards used to be minmaxer territory, but there's been power creep and rebalances so archon hunts aren't too bad even though the power increase from shards is pretty marginal.Also, I realized that I forgot to mention amps in my last post. You should build a starter amp around the time you start doing Zariman stuff, and 111 is adequate for mechanics until you want to start properly fighting with your operator/drifter. Some people put that off so long that they never actually do it, so while it's very nice to have an upgraded operator it's not necessary by any means.
