I just got rune rank on the 2nd leagues run, and now I'm finally putting this shit down.

1st Run: TAM, halberd blingbag + 1t staff, crossbow thorns
2nd Run: FWD, light thorns, blood fire + ice water + thorns, blowpipe

- Varlamore was a good starting region, probably doesn't need to a recurring thing now though

- Demonic Pacts were cool, definitely needs a 2nd iteration though to learn from their mistakes
- Not having "5t -> 2t, everything else is trash" meta was nice
- Thorns was too good
- Too many weapons cucked by being able to be paired with thorns (e.g. bows), or just not really having anything going for them (e.g. heavy 1H melee)
- Not really as much variety as it appeared on paper
- End game was lacking, mega-rares weren't even good or chase items; week 1 pact backpedal made too many hard things skippable, but was ultimately the right thing to do.

- Too many mid echo items

- I hope the fact that respecs exist doesn't cause the reddit shitter opinions to slip in and make other choices meaningless (e.g. re-rolling relics)

- The relics were decent overall, but it kind of felt like there was a bit too much specialising in certain skills. You have the "hunter+fletching" relic, rather than something more general. This basically lead to runecraft being absolutely fucking miserable if you didn't take soul harvest, instead of having something like banker's note which solved a bunch of things.
- Transmute vs Butler's Bell: Butler's Bell. Transmute did has a nice synergy with Frem because of Miscellania, which nobody ever mentioned (understandably).
- Clue relic was too weak. I get what they were going for with the clue contracts, but it really just didn't pan out and was hyper niche.
- Eternal Sustenance was unironically very very good, and Culling Spree was rather overrated, unless you had regions where slayer was very important (e.g. wilderness for rev tasks)
- Having the farming relic but still having to wait was shit. I didn't even bother to get 99.
