There is serious, Yu-Gi-Oh! level power creep in that game, but old characters get buffed often.

Hairpin is on paper good, but it is ninjas only and ninjas don't have good damage skills except for covert strike which is close range only. I wouldn't get it unless you are willing to dump multiple inherits like heavy attack onto another ninja.
For Hue, like all damage dealing inherits, they are generally not worth passing to others due to a massive damage penalty.

It's just a matter of having the right team.
You need to outlast him. He doesn't actually deal that much damage if you have a careful approach, so you're fine with a team of mostly casters.

My final team was all Mage/Priests with only MC as a dedicated damage dealer (as light element samurai spamming bamboo cutter). Don't bring Yuzu, if you hit him too hard too fast you're just asking for him to kill your team with consecutive AoEs. Go slow, keep MAKALKI up and use PORTO/BATILGREF to make sure you have more turns than he does- that was the key to winning for me.

You don't target farm it, fairies organically appear in a decent number of farming locations. You'd get around 20ish fairy junk pieces after farming alabaster for 10 hours, so its not too bad since everyone needs to spend at least 100 hours in alabaster every month.

Well the issue is that they spent their FAS's to perfect their gacha gear, but in turns out it wasn't perfect since they were rolling a blessing tier lower than what they expected.

Not really a valid issue though since the roll range on blessings is so variable (4 and 5 stars only increase top end flat, they can still minroll exact same as 3 stars).

See this is what I meant earlier, I've never heard of a gacha with paid "bis" weapons get outdated like this, usually only gacha powercreep with more powerful paid items, but with this idiotic weapon tier system it doesnt make sense that the weapons dont get updated automatically to the highest available tier, I havent invest much into composite, but even that i heard doesnt quite bring weapons to the same level as silver and no further blessings, you cant even garauntee a 3 star blue which should be the bare minimum for gacha weapons. Japan is probably the only country that still has asinine gacha elements like this, imagine if upgrading weapon had a risk of destroying your equipment as well. Pretty sure some of those tactics have been made illegal by now.
