Anyway just did the mech race, it was pretty rad to be honest but they should have had it finish the race with you even if that would mean faking the ending like every showcase race since fh3, the gundam breaking down at the finish is kinda lame.

I'm kinda baffled by the game's graphics and performance.I'm on a 3070ti i9-12900 system, and FH5 at internal 1440p DLAA with every setting max except for texture and geometry which I kept at Ultra ran at 120-140 fps for me constantly.Since ray tracing is literally the single only graphical update in FH6 compared to FH5, and they reused the same engine as 5 instead of using the FM8 engine, I thought that if I just turned off ray tracing my game would run super smooth.But with ray tracing off, internal 1440p DLAA ultra/extreme settings the game runs at around 40-60 fps with constant micro stutters. Dropping down to internal 1080p DLSS K Quality with just Ultra settings runs at around 59-80, but that's still super low to me and the dips into the high 50s means I can't get a perfect 60 lock. Retards online are saying that 8gb GPUs cannot run ultra textures and geometry but my vram usage doesn't exceed 6.9 when running those so vram isn't the issue.Hope it gets better cause one of the best things about FH5 was just how perfectly it ran.

I’ve never played these games and the way people talk about Forza I expected it to be a serious GT-like. After playing quite a bit, my thoughts on the game are more mixed than I expected.I love the handling changes. Making weight transfer, car stability and front grip more important feels really good and making RWD cars more distinct feeling again instead of "AWD but better" like inFH5 is also super nice. I love the new rims options, I love the radio stations and the new car sounds are godly.The new progression system sucks. Going back to FH1's restrictions per event was a mistake IMO. Having to get a new car and build it for just one 2 minute race feels tedious and it kills any posibility for the player to form attachments to their cars during the campaign, they should have gone back to FH3's championship style system and made each championship have restrictions, that way each care you made was at least used for at least 3-4 races. The new graphics are a mixed bag. I enjoy the more FH3 artstyle and colors but the game has more plastic weird look to it that none of the games before have had, and some areas of the map look duller than even anything we had in Mexico. The game also runs vastly worse than FH5 even when turning off the only new graphical feature in 6, which is just weird. The new characters suck and feel even more cringe than FH5, the small stuff to do around the map are mind numbing and boring, no new customization features.I honestly think they should just stop listening to dogshit nostalgia youtubers who complain about Horizon not having a need for speed style career and just make every game have FH2/FH3's structure. Everything built around the way the game handles revolves around real car physics and realism, but its made to be very easy to keep in charge of.
