The XIV Vana'diel Alliance Raid (and subscription discount) has gotten more people interested in XI. XI is currently doing an anniversary event and I think it might still be on sale for $10, so it's a great time to play XI. Everything is outdated. It was outdated even when it launched. Nothing about the game is friendly. It's quite frankly a chore to play. Cloud *is* Zack for the first half of VII... or at least the version of Zack that his memories held. I guess everyone always has a different idea of who (You) are even if you're always the same person, and the (You) everyone thinks you are is probably even different from the (You) that (You) think you are.
The important thing is only Aerith realizes Cloud is trying to be someone else and tells him she wants his real self.
