>>567715738well the game is a balancing nightmare in general. everything does too much damage, statuses have to be artificially gutted because they make "challenge" content too easy. ids with modifiers make everything without 3k+ hp instantly explode. a single bad attack against a sinner could unironically one hit them. my only hope with an economy change is that it makes the game more sane. its probably because the game has no surface area for gameplay to exist on so many other bad decisions followed. sanity had to be made to a 95% success rate because the game literally had no gameplay beyond getting lucky, actually failing that 95% had to be punishing so damage numbers compensated to one shot us. auto targeting is basically just forced winrate thats allowed to exist because what skill you choose doesnt really matter. focused encounters have no depth because all fights are just dps races that you have to not get fucked over by mechanics.hopefully they work on side modes more seriously and either commit to what made LoR work or steer away from whatever mess this is entirely.

>>567717790yesod, hod and chesed are very boring yes. arguably the tier 5 cards hod gets are somewhat interesting but for the most part its simply getting bigger numbers when played correctly. i really liked hokmas timer mechanic, most of his kit has horrible design but the price of silence saves the whole floor. binah is a little bit interesting for trying to survive and build up to the beast but its pretty linear and more like a one time novelty. everything else is not being creative enough. i was a netzach player on my first playthrough because his regen card has a pre mitigation damage quirk where if you stacked enough protection he can start healing more than he gets damaged. this leads to like turn 100 giga sustain realizations of him enduring the fuck out of hundreds of attacks. smoke is busted too you deal so much more damage with it. malkuth has fun interactions with the cost reduction card. tanking in general is usually viable and you can often play around it by paying attention to resistances/targeting and staggering enemies before a clash happens. the game has a lot of depth that you have to just try and make shit work to see, but as i said before clashing is a little bit too strong. the only thing ill say about ruina is it could have encouraged alternative strategies more often
