GT is either stupidly OP or I'm smurfing in Archanist. 11+ kills and 20+ assists per game on my first 5 games, more than +100 every game. I still think the removal of the 4th lane was a mistake. I understand that trying to solve its problems was costing development time, but how many urn revisions are we on now? Working out the kinks is kind of the point. They bitched out because the playercount was bottoming when it wasn't supposed to be as high as it was to begin with. Picture this: instead of one urn, there's two, one on each side lane.The two urns have a much lower spawn time (2 to 3 minutes) but are worth 35-40% what a regular urn is. In the event that a new urn spawns while one already exists, the existing one has its soul count increased by the new urn's value.You can drop them at mid for 60% of the soul value or run the full way for 100%. Both drop off points have a short drop off timer to let the other side steal.

So the new urn definetly is in a better place, but there's two things i immediately noticed: first, there's now a "safe lane" and a "hard lane", the hard one being Yellow. Hard as in by 10 minutes there's guaranteed going to be a clusterfuck teamfight in the middle of your lane. So your carry is better off being in green. Second, it kinda feels difficult for the losing team to deliver the urn now. Sure, you have some advantage in the fight due to the stats but it takes a while to carry the urn to the opposite side lane, and the enemy team will already have assembled there

If you’re actively helping shape patches and getting insight before public release, that’s an extreme advantage ESPECIALLY when a major update drops a DAY BEFORE the event. we can’t prep equally when some teams effectively get early information. teams with players that are in the "experimental server" or in contact with the developers should not be allowed to compete in my opinion. i can also confidently state this because i was previously in the "experimental server" and the information that I was receiving would have been extremely advantageous had I been playing on a team at that time.

New urn location is definitely a lot better. Being under the bridge helps quite a bit. Increased timer is obviously a big improvement, fights sometimes feel like they basically last until one team is completely dead now but at least there's no last-second stealing. I'm not sure if I like this more than the original urn mechanics but this iteration is enough of an improvement that I can tolerate playing the game. I wish they would just do a ctf style thing with the urn though, I'd like to see how that plays.

The urn is a placebo, this is a pve game. I used to hate the change but then I realized it made sneaking walkers way easier. I simply play Wraith, farm everything in sight, sneak walkers, destroy anyone who wants to 1v1 me, and magically around the 30 minute mark I’m 10-20k souls over everybody else and have complete authority over the match. And for some reason nobody in Archon builds disarming hex. Although if it’s one thing I learned today after bouting with a shiv in chat it’s that people REALLY don’t want to go off build to counter buy. Tier 4’s are crucial especially those first 2-3 and a lot of heroes have trouble farming. Just like wave management people just pray another teammate will handle it.

I am flabbergasted beyond belief holy shit, we were winning 2 of 3 lanes just because we were playing properly and punishing the enemy team for diving, the one lane that we were losing was because our teammates were playing like shit, they dced 5 minutes in. Then the seven leaves as well, its just me rem and billy, billy tells us he's got this shit on lock, to just play defensive and let him farm, and farm he did. Eventually our guardians fell and so did our walkers, but every time they tried to make a push billy was so well farmed and rem pocketed him so hard that he team wiped them every time while I was on dedicated creep clean up duty. Eventually the entire enemy team dced due to the stalemate and we won holy fuck this is what dreams are made of I love Billy players.
