The absolute worst experience in deadlock is sitting solo side into a wraith/haze that just kill you on their ult cd with little to no counter play. Wraith at least you can counterspell but you still get hit with 5 cards for 1500 damage. Haze you just get fucked I guess. This shit is genuinely miserable.

Neutral objectives like urn should be a less valuable minigame for a few players like better sinners. No comeback exceptions needed the generic map soul bonus for losing teams is enough. It's also enough to ask that both teams maintain map presence over time and suffer consequences instead of the sudden soul rubberbanding we have now. Deadlock needs mechanics that can compel the winning team to split up temporarily spend time on their own side of the map or defend a lane. Whether that's temporarily giving the losing team map vision, the ability to reinforce a particular tower/lane, spawn buffed troopers or a miniboss, force the winning team to search for items on their own half to prevent a bonus, etc. The priority being giving losing teams space to farm their half and execute plays while diminishing the soul impact of 1 particular mechanic. That would do a lot more and feel better to play while making individual efforts more impactful.Some examples for soul diff losing team bonuses>Guardian death gives lane assignees buffed trooper spawn skill can be used once each anytime, 2.5x tougher, normal soul value>Walker death gives 2 min of local map vision, mid walker gives whole half vision, extra charge of trooper spawn skill>New trooper miniboss objective spawns on 1 green yellow connecting bridge, aim minigame to kill, can be summoned in a lane if secured>Urn and Trooper Miniboss objective spawn at the same time>New fast thief mobs that roam both sides stealing box and camp souls until you kill them. You still have to clear the map but if the mob is killed by the opposing team they get the value of it and everything it stole.
