I've never played her so can't give any suggestions, but her play style from what I've observed is poking people with her slash then knowing when to go all in A lot of the things in this game are gathered from observing the enemy and calculating fast if doing X or H is worth. As for the mid, Yamato is also very strong there with her grapple and ganking potential + ult for urn contest. I think mid game is when she's at her strongest, then falls off late. Imo, laning is all about poking and timing your engages with the wave, so during a trade, you lose health but have the healing minion to help (it heals more the lower your health is)
Is Graves supposed to be useless for the first 20 minutes? I tried her and couldn't do anything until I had rapid recharge and echo shard at which point I now have the highest player and objective damage on my team.

Before you would see some fag Ivy flying some fag teammate over there and you only had one guy on that lane and nobody else remotely close to it, so you just accept that it's gone and try trading some objective for it.

Not saying that's right or wrong, I just think that's why people are still brool-minded compared to old urn.
